We provide battery storage systems as a product – including complete logistics, installation, and connection to the distribution grid through our partner companies.
Battery energy storage systems (BESS) represent a modern way to optimize energy consumption, reduce costs, and increase independence from the distribution grid. SPL offers its own technical solutions for both standalone installations and integration with renewable energy sources.
Both options allow for linear capacity scaling.
Option for Electricity Trading
Thanks to the ability to respond to price fluctuations, it is possible to charge during low-tariff periods and supply energy when prices are higher. This results in direct savings.
Optimization of Renewable Energy Sources
The battery storage system balances the variability of renewable energy production (e.g., due to weather conditions). Energy is stored during periods of surplus and used later, thereby increasing the overall efficiency of production.
Grid Balancing Services
Batteries help maintain the balance of the transmission grid. They are ready to supply or absorb energy instantly, providing an elegant and efficient replacement for diesel generators and so-called energy dissipators.

- Complete technical solution including PCS and chiller
- Container capacity: 1 MWh - 3.44 MWh
- Power: 0.5 MW - 1.725 MW
- Dimensions: 6,058 × 2,438 × 2,896 mm
- Suitable for larger applications (e.g., industrial operations) with the option to connect any number of containers
- Cooling and fire protection system including water-based FSS
- Optimized for "energy shifting" – storing energy during off-peak periods
BESS Poustka
Battery storage with a capacity of 6.88 MWh.
First project
The battery storage system at the Poustka PV plant consists of three containers. Two of the containers house the batteries — each with a capacity of 3.44 MWh. The third container contains two PCS units (0.5c each) and a 3450 kVA transformer.
The battery is primarily used for so-called production shifting and also for providing grid balancing services.
